Finding the ways to fill the time
This week, struggling to complete an article about the latest incarnation of a Greens party in Japan, I went searching for an eco-friendly listing.
Habitat Magazine is a subscription only magazine that deals with “environment, conservation and green living” and produces about 6 issues a year.
They look for articles, filler and interviews from freelancers and pay for submissions, taking about 4 weeks on average to reply. They say they are “interested in ideas regarding topical environmental issues, particularly those focusing on examples of how communities operate to help their local environment. ” While this is an Australian magazine, it seems open to general environment-based material.
By going to the Habitat website, you can download a free copy of their latest issue to get a feel for their style as well as some handy electricity reducing tips.
